Homemade Elderberry Syrup
Servings: 750 ml Bottle

- 4 Cup Filtered Water
- 1 Cup Elderberries (I used dried)
- 2 Tbsp Ginger Powder (Or fresh root)
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- ½ tsp Cloves (Or ground)
- 1 piece Anise Star (Optional)
- 1 Cup Honey (Save to the side until the end)
Add all the ingredients to a stock pot.
Bring to a simmer for 45 minutes to an hour, stirring occasionally.
Let cool for 15 minutes before adding the honey.
Whisk in honey until dissolved.
Strain into a bowl and pour into glass vessel of your choice.
Store in fridge up to a month or keep on the counter for quick consumption.

Children 1+ and above: Preventative = 1 tsp Daily If sick = 4-5 tsp Daily
Adults: Preventative = 1 Tbsp Daily If sick = 4-5 Tbsp Daily
